Sneak Peek: FRI 5/28 & SAT 5/29


I've updated the calendar through Sunday with some cheapness, so I thought about giving you a heads-up for the weekend.

A ridiculous amount of (mostly) folky goodness.

Music starts at Noon from Saturday to Monday.

Celebrating Comic Art, features work by Jamie Buckmaster, Craig Bostick, Alison Cowell, Andy Fish, Veronica Hebard, Bret Herholz, Mike Leslie, Derek Ring, Paul Ryan, and Tak Toyoshima.

...including comic pages, original pieces, and prints. [e.g. full 22-page full issue of "Batman: Gothic Knights" (2000) and an original Paul Ryan "Phantom" cover (#11, Sweden, 2004)]
You can still probably RSVP. When I went they didn't check after people started to go out for smokes...

A play by Howard Zinn comes returns from the afterlife to defend his reputation.

Proceeds benefit Greater Boston Stop the Wars Coalition and the Socialist Party of Boston.

at USS Constitution Museum, Charlestown Navy Yard

Miniature ship model exhibit and hobby fair, sponsored by the Society of Miniature Ship Collectors.

Event features small scale ship models from around the world.

Ship modelers, producers and collectors will be available to discuss miniature ship building and collecting with the public.
